Blog. Talk. Walk.
Delhi Dallying is a venture I co-founded with Bhavika Aggarwal and Varun Bajaj in early 2011 to initiate conversation about the many layers of the city. Started as a school project for hosting a seminar to get three different perspectives on the city, Delhi Dallying soon became a blog about the sharing with other people everything we learnt about the city at architecture school. In 2013, after doing a group research project on the neighbourhoods of the old city, we realized it wasn’t enough for our learning to be ending up as only a presentation deck and paper. Consequently, the first Delhi Dallying walking tour was born followed by other walking tours that captured not just historical facts but presented them in the contemporary context.
Over the years, we have partnered with business and academic institutions to deliver curated experiential content situated in different neighbourhoods of the city. We have been commissioned to conduct walking tours for students from NYU, Würzburg University, Royal College of Art, the School of Planning and Architecture as well as the Office of the President of India. We have collaborated with the Unbox Festival and the Ignite Festival for contemporary dance to organize workshops.
