Water Actions Game
for DELHi 2050
I worked on this project while I was an architect at arch i platform. This game was part of DELHi 2050 Step 6.1 Water in Dwarka was initiated by arch i platform, New Delhi in collaboration with One Architecture, Amsterdam and Studio Makkink & Bey, Rotterdam, supported by the Stimuleringfonds. Based on Anne Feenstra’s idea of learning by playing, the intent was to develop a game to get children to start thinking about their water consumption and figure ways of reducing it. The game was created through a series of workshops with grade 7 students of Sri Venkateshwar International School, understanding the aspects of the discourse that the kids were familiar/unfamiliar with as well as identifying the methods or vocabulary that could be used for most effective communication. I led the process of conducting the workshop, collating the findings, design and testing of the game, graphic design of the information card as well as the overall management of the project.
